If someone walked into your home and tracked an awful muddy footprint, wouldn’t you be upset? What if it was…

ROBERT PATTINSON?! Earlier this month, a lucky family in Illinois received a surprise home visit from Twilight hunk, ‘Edward Cullen.’ The once-in-a-lifetime drop-by was coordinated and taped for the May 13 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show. The Mele family decided to dress up like the Cullen family and send pictures to Oprah producers in hopes they’d receive tickets to that show. The producers saw first hand what die-hard Twilight fans they were, and it took it to the next level by bringing Rob to their house! (Of course, they ended up getting tickets to Oprah’s show as well!) Mom Maria Mele gushed, “We answered the door, and it was Robert! He was just amazing, just like we imagined him to be. He wasn’t here for very long, maybe ten minutes,” Mele explains. “We were screaming for the first five! We were all going nuts. He hugged every one of us… He has a great sense of humor.” The actor left another kind of impression in the family’s abode. “Rob had a mud mark on his shoe when he walked in, and we had just had our carpets cleaned. I told my husband, ‘You are never washing that footprint!’ It was hilarious.” So if Robert tracked mud in your house, would you leave it there too?
