It’s good to see that the law applies to everyone…..well, unless your name is Lindsay Lohan.

This new texting law has been in effect for about a month now here in Detroit, and apparently this law applies to the citizens in New York as well.

Over the weekend Beyonce was caught texting while driving and fined $100!

Come on Beyonce! I get pulled over for going 5 over and I show a little skin to get out of it. At least get out of the car and shake that bootylicious bootay, or I don’t know, say, “MY NAME IS BEYONCE!” I must say, it is pretty cool to see a celebrity with a status like hers be treated like everyone else, and not make a big fuss about it. Kudos Beyonce.
