A billboard in Saginaw, Michigan is turning a few heads and has some people fired up…

The sign says, “I miss hearing you say Merry Christmas -Jesus.”

Every year it’s a hot debate of what to say “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays.”

The billboard was put up by the local TV station after they posed the question on their Facebook page and got a huge amount of responses… they decided to take the question to the streets. So what do you think?

  1. Deyona says:

I think that we should all be able too say whatever we want, it shouldn’t matter.

  2. Brittany says:

I agree with Deyona! I thought we lived in a “Free Country” and i thought we had the “Freedom of Speech” Im sick of having to be careful of what I say! If someone is of a different religion and does something different thats fine, but we shouldn’t have to change what we say.

  3. Natalie says:

Jesus is the reason for the season. ❤

  4. Mort says:

Merry Christmas is fine, but when I don’t know someone, out of respect, I say happy holidays because they could be celebrating Hanukkah, Ramadan or nothing instead of or in addition to Christmas.

It isn’t political correctness. It’s called courtesy–something we could all use an extra dose of.
