Luxury auto manufacturer, Porsche, is well over 1,100,000 fans on their Facebook page, but over 100,000 fans ago, when they reached exactly 1 Million, Porsche decided they would celebrate their fans by carving the names of those fans onto a special Porsche model to be displayed in the Porsche museum in Stuttgart, Germany. Porsche has some pretty intense online outreach including A Porsche Family Tree and a Porsche Google Chrome theme, but for most people clicking the “Like” button the the Facebook page, that’s the closest they come to a Porsche in real life. One can dream, right? Maybe the company will unveil an even better surprise when it reaches 1 Million Twitter followers, but that’s a long shot considering they’re currently at a mere 3,575.
