Christina Aguilera Botches The National Anthem At Super Bowl XLV

What was that? Did [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Christina Aguilera[/lastfm] just sing the same line of the National Anthem twice? It’s gotta be tough in front of BILLIONS watching at home and thousands in attendance during Super Bowl XLV. But, Xtina completely lost rack of the words during her performance of The Star Spangled Banner.

Not sure how long they’ll keep this up so pass it along!

Christina Aguilera BOTCHES The National Anthem At Super Bowl XLV

Here’s what she should have sang:

O say can you see by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave,
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

    I am not a Christina Hater, but yes she botched it. I watched it on you tube and I’m not trying to gossip, but check out the video on youtube, she has a dark bruise on her inner arm….. drug tracks?????? Would explain the screw up!

      It’s sweet that she forgot the lyrics. It was like Leslie Nielsen in the Naked Gun come to life when he forgot the lyrics in the movie.
