Model mogul Tyra Banks has done just about everything there is to do in her long spanning career. However, one thing she has always wanted to do is to go to school. Luckily, she has been given a second chance to go.  The school of choice… Harvard Business School! Yes, really.

Very impressive Ms. Banks!

Tyra Banks has had a successful modeling career and has created an empire with her Bankable Productions Company, but she believes that she still has so much to learn.

In a recent interview with CBS News, Tyra explained her decision to further her education. “In order for my company to grow and be the best, and to reach these women, and to serve them, I needed the best. So I went to the best,” said Banks.

At age 17, she was discovered by an modeling agent and was soon walking the runways of Paris. At the time, she thought it was the opportunity of a lifetime.  However, the decision derailed her chances of attending L.A.’s  Loyala Marymount University. Turns out it was the right decision because in 2009, Forbes listed her as the highest paid woman in prime time, with an annual income of $30 million. Wowzers!

Tyra Banks will be participating in an intensive three-week Owner/Management program for the next three years with a price tag of $31,100. Yikes, that seems like a lot but probably worth the business investment.

Congrats Tyra! We’ll be looking forward to your graduation day.
