As we type this Lady Gaga is at Twitter headquarters in San Francisco chatting with Evan Williams, co-founder of the social

networking website. The pop superstar’s Monster Ball Tour made a stop in Oakland last night. As she’s done on previous tour stops in the Bay Area, Gaga is taking time from her hectic schedule to visit tech companies. Although she visited Google yesterday for an exclusive interview, we think she may have a soft spot for Twitter. The singer is currently followed by close to nine million fans.

Back in August, Gaga visited Apple HQ which sparked rumors about a possible deal between the singer and the company. Many speculated she was in talks to promote the iPhone 4. Nothing ever came from her trip to Apple but it was interesting nonetheless.

In fact, celebs have made it a habit to drop by local tech companies. Outspoken rapper Kanye West popped into Facebook HQ not too long ago for an impromptu performance of tracks from his then unreleased album My Dark Beautiful Twisted Fantasy. He infamously jumped on a cafeteria table and began rapping acapella. Guess you have to keep it interesting!
