80001733 DWTS Judge Tells Producers To Keep Him Away From Guest Performer Tonight

Fans of “Dancing With the Stars” already know that host Tom Bergeron has a quick wit — always ad-libbing little comments on the fly.   So why is he telling DWTS producers that they might want to keep him away from the guest performer tonight on their results show???

The guest performer is Chris Brown and Tom Bergeron has a strong piece of advice for DWTS producers…

“Here’s the thing,” he told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show this morning. “I did say to the producers that it might be to their advantage to not have me interview him, because my natural tendency would be to say something.

“You know? So don’t put me in a position where you’re asking me to not say something, ’cause I won’t really do that. Even if it’s just a snarky little aside, you know, ‘How was your week?'”

As previously reported, Brown is still scheduled to perform on the ABC show, even though he smashed a window in anger last week following an appearance on “Good Morning America.”

Bergeron said of ABC brass: “They’ll probably have me in a Hannibal Lecter suit.”

  1. Don Leever says:

My wife and I are boycotting DWTS because of your choice to have Chris Brown as a guest performer. He is not what we see as an appropriate performer of the music, dancing, respect and morals of DWTS. What does his music and performance have to do with waltz, quick step, foxtrot, cha cha and all the other ballrooom dances we grew up with? We have been followers of the program from the onset but NO MORE.
