Looks like Charlie is trying to blame Detroit for his massive failure of a show this past Saturday night. After being heckled and booed off stage on Saturday, Charlie made some major changes to his show and even added a special little “tribute” to Detroit.

For the second show of the”Violent Torpedo of Truth/ Defeat Is Not an Option” tour in Chicago, Sheen did a massive overhaul of the entire show. Here’s how it went down. For starters, the poor comedian that was booed off stage here on Saturday is no longer part of the show. Welcomed by chants of “Detroit Sucks,” Sheen hit the stage and opened up with a poem about how much he hates Detroit. Still blaming Saturday’s audience for his demise, Sheen pleaded with the Chicago audience,

“not to become (expletive) Detroit tonight. Let’s show Detroit how it’s (expletive) done.” reports that the format of the show has also changed. Instead of Charlie babbling on-stage by himself there is an interviewer asking him questions. Taking a hint from the booing, the lengthy RPG film with Johnny Depp that you all hated so much has also been pulled from the show. Sheen made it to an intermission without any booing or chants of “re-fund” in Chicago. The show proceeded with more stories and concluded with a reading of a letter from a goddess. According to the Chicago Tribune, before leaving the stage, Sheen took one last jab at Detroit.

“I had the best f—— time of my life, unlike that death sentence that was Detroit.”

Whatever changes he made must of worked. Charlie received a standing ovation at the conclusion of the Chicago show.
