rebecca black Glee Cast To Cover Rebecca Blacks Viral Video Hit Friday

Both New York Magazine’s Vulture Blog and Rolling Stone have confirmed awesome rumors that the Glee cast will be doing a cover of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Rebecca Black[/lastfm]’s 100 million view garnering YouTube travesty/hit “Friday.”

What? How? Huh? Which Glee episode is it going to be on and why? Why, Ryan Murphy, why???

According to reports, Glee ‘s cover version of Rebecca Black’s  “Friday” will be sung on the Glee prom episode and will feature three of the show’s male cast members — Artie (Kevin McHale),  Puck (Mark Salling)  and Sam (Chord Overstreet).

What do you think the premise will be? Them getting all decked out for the prom? Them riding in the limousine to pick up their dates? Them home alone making fun of themselves by watching YouTube videos?

Regardless, showcasing the “Friday” on the show will undoubtedly spike songs sales and Black will be making more bank on what some consider the “worst song ever written.” Have you heard any of the other Ark songs? Some of them are infinitely worse.

Don’t you dare think that the precocious young “musical genius” (as deemed by Simon Cowell and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lady Gaga[/lastfm]) is done. Ms. Black has been in the studio recording more tunes.

Hopefully, she didn’t fiddle around with the auto-tuned knob too much.

Tune in to “Glee” each Tuesday (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. For more info on “GLEE” The Music visit: In the mean time, catch up on all the greatest “Glee” hits on “Glee” Radio. launcher glee sue 2 Glee Cast To Cover Rebecca Blacks Viral Video Hit Friday
