Without a doubt, Sky Blu & Red Foo of LMFAO are dedicated to their cause, which is party rockin’ of course.
In case you were worried if the dynamic duo had abandoned having a good time, fear not, cause in their sophomore album Sorry For Party Rocking they take shufflin’ to a whole new level.
And yes, you’re gonna want in on this action.
They say do what you love, and LMFAO has taken that message to heart, bringing party rocking to the masses in the form of music & fun.
I’ve been a longtime fan of their and eagerly anticipating their sophomore album Sorry For Party Rocking since I heard the duo were heading back into the studio.
My hopes were that the entire album would mirror the energy and sound of their first single, “Party Rock Anthem” and I was not disappointed.
This will be your go to album for all things party this summer and make no mistake this album will be around for a while because the songs are so infectiously catchy.
More often than not, albums have become a collection of singles that lack a single cohesive trend, but that’s not the case with Sorry For Party Rocking. Red Foo & Sky Blu took into account not only the message they wanted to bring to the masses but how they wanted it to sound.
It could be easy to make an album about having fun and partying come across as cheesy, but they manage to not only hit their mark, but do it with edge, flavor and humor.
It’s impossible not to feel the need to get up and just dance while listening to this album. In fact, count Sorry For Party Rocking as your go to workout album because it manages to pump you up even when you feel like just going back to bed.
Booming bass and synth-riffs in songs like, “Sexy And I Know It” and “Put That A$$ To Work” will keep you going as you attempt to maximize results for your perfect bikini body.
And what else would you expect from the duo that glorified a hot mama and her polka-dot bikini?
However, it appears that LMFAO’s talents are not to be restricted to the music studio. The two have been behind some of the most creative and interesting music videos to date.
In “Party Rock Anthem” the two battled zombies while shufflin’ and in their latest single “Champagne Showers” they battle the undead with Hollywood Jesus and Holy Champagne.
It makes us thirsty for more, and not just champagne, but for where LMFAO plan to go from here. If Sorry For Party Rocking was their attempt to crossover from dance music to pop royalty, they accomplished their goal.
And in the case that they only planned to cut a sick dance album for Party Rocking they manged to do that and so much more.
