Austin City Limits Festival: Big Boi And Nas Interviews

Our friends at Myspace are in Austin this weekend covering the Austin City Limits Festival.

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Big Boi[/lastfm] stopped by to chat with Myspace before his set at ACL. The rapper, who has been hitting the festival circuit this summer, talked about coming into his own as a solo artist, working with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Modest Mouse[/lastfm] and the kids record label he recently formed with his daughter.

We forgot to ask the requisite “When is [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Outkast[/lastfm] getting back together?” but you can draw your own conclusions on Big Boi’s possible response.

In addition to Big Boi, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Nas[/lastfm] stopped by for a quick interview this afternoon with our friends from Myspace, before performing with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Damian “Jr Gong” Marley[/lastfm]. The rapper hasn’t yet announced the name and title of his upcoming new album, but he told us about his inspiration for the disc. Plus, Nas discussed performing at Rock the Bells this summer and why he’s got a more positive attitude these days.
