Every day our man Nick Cannon covers off on the hottest music, movies and stars of pop culture. Come back each day for a list from Nick as part of Cannon’s Countdown.

[mp3com-artist]Kanye West [/mp3com-artist] recently finished up his solo world tour and hopped back on the road to tour with [mp3com-artist]Jay-Z [/mp3com-artist] for the “Watch The Throne” tour that kicked off in ATL last weekend. Even though he’s busy as hell, he’s making time to release another new album real soon. Want to know what it’s all about? Sure you do!

West plans to release a compilation album with all of the artists on his G.O.O.D. label, including [mp3com-artist]Common[/mp3com-artist], [mp3com-artist]Big Sean[/mp3com-artist], [mp3com-artist]Mos Def[/mp3com-artist], [mp3com-artist]Chyhi Da Prince[/mp3com-artist], [mp3com-artist]Kid Kudi[/mp3com-artist], [mp3com-artist]Pusha T[/mp3com-artist]., [mp3com-artist]John Legend[/mp3com-artist] and [mp3com-artist]Mr. Hudson[/mp3com-artist]. Sounds like its gonna be dope.

So, until we can get all of that new music, here are 5 of my favorite hits from a few of the artists that are now on his label.

5.  Mos Def “Umi Says”

This is one of his best songs ever. Classic! (“Umi” is mother in Arabic, by the way)

4.  Big Sean “My Last” feat. Chris Brown

This is Big Sean’s big hit with Breezy. But, with the rate he’s going its not going to be his last.

3. ChyHi Da Prince “Sideways”

He is definitely going to make his mark soon. Watch out, ya’ll.

2. Kid Kudi

I know you are checking him every week on “How To Make It” on HBO. But, he’s also a dope MC.

1. Common

This vet MC is not going anywhere anytime soon. He’s like a well-tailored suit. Never goes out of style.
