Every day our man Nick Cannon covers off on the hottest music, movies and stars of pop culture. Come back each day for a list from Nick as part of Cannon’s Countdown.

Ever since he arrived on the pop scene in 2009, Jason Derulo has been breaking hearts all OVER the world. With his first single “Whatcha Say” selling over five million downloads Derulo showed that not only can he write music but he can also entertain the pants off of anyone.

Fast forward through him opening up for Lady Gaga on the Monster Ball Tour in 2009 and 2010, Derulo’s taking the world by storm once again with his second album Future History.

With two successful singles already under his belt, he’s just about ready to release his third single called “Breathing”. In fact, he just debuted the music video for that joint!

So in honor of all off things Jason Derulo, I’m going to count down my top five favorite songs from the heartbreaker himself.

5) Don’t Wanna Go Home

4) Ridin’ Solo

3) It Girl

2) Whatcha Say

1) In My Head

With Breathing just released, I have a feeling this is going to fit nicely into the top five somewhere.

Here’s the video to that joint, below.

What do you think? Does Derulo have a hit with his new single?
Send me a tweet @nickcannon and let me know what you think!

And don’t forget to check out Cannon’s Countdown every weekend as I countdown your favorite songs, and give you all the latest gossip about your favorite artists.
