Over the past few years, I haven’t really been that excited over any movies. But when I learned about The Hunger Games, I got super excited.  Other people were just as excited as I was.  And according to Entertainment Weekly, it scored the best box office ever for a non-sequel movie.  But the real question is if it was actually any good.

Ali, and headed to the theater today to check out The Hunger Games.  If you are not familiar with it, the movie is based on of a “young adult” novel, and has quite the story.  The main character is Katniss Everdeen, who is played by Jennifer Lawrence.  The idea is that Katniss is about to play in a tournament called The Hunger Games, which is basically a fight to the death between her and others around her age.  And while it seemed like it would be violent, it was actually a great movie, and not too violent!
