For the first time The Situation opened up about his time spent in rehab in an interview with MTV News.

Mike Sorrentino admitted that he has definitely  had “a lot of rainy days” since  finishing treatment in April, but says he’s now “in a good place.” As they all do…lol

There was a lot of speculation about why exactly he was in rehab originally. And at first, Mike blew off rumors that he was popping pills. He now is confirming, “My addiction was prescription painkillers,” saying, “At first… I thought that it might have gave me energy. I thought it helped me. Being in this business is not easy.”

Mike says his problem was “never” alcohol, cocaine or marijuana. He also says, that he “never mixed” painkillers with alcohol.

I’m not sure if I believe this one, but he claims he was never drunk on Jersey Shore. And he goes on to name himself  “the guy that was the ladies man.” lol oooooooook Mike. But good for him if he actually has cleaned up his act. I guess we’ll see for sure on this season of Jersey Shore! 🙂
