Brian McKnight is on his way to securing a spot as one of Twitter’s most wanted. After becoming a trending topic back in April for his X-rated song lyrics, he’s now stepped into a Twitter feud with Chris Brown.

On Saturday, June 2, Brown was apparently minding his own Twitter business when McKnight referenced Brown’s infamous abuse incident from 2009.

“Since everyone’s so opinionated I’m taking suggestions on what I should do next,” McKnight tweeted, “I’m thinking rent a lambo and beat the s*** outta my girl…”

The remark was McKnight’s attempt to defend himself from critics who pounced on the singer for a remake of his x-rated song, “If Your Ready To Learn.” The new version was used for a porn site.

The original song, which he released via Twitter in April, showcases a traditional McKnight melody as he croons in usual emotive fashion. However, the lyrics represent a departure from the love songs he is known for penning.

“Let me show you how your p**** works,” he sings on the chorus, “Since you didn’t bring it to me first/ I have lots of things to show you, if you’re ready to learn/ Let me show you how your p**** works / I bet you didn’t know it could squirt…”

When fans reacted to his updated version, he began to question the values of society and Brown became a casualty of his point. Brown, an avid Twitter beefer, returned McKnight’s jabs with a few of his own.

Brown followed up with more tweets: “Listening to ‘let me show u how ur P works’!!!! THAT S*** IS TRASH! If u need help just ask!”

With his final tweet on the topic, McKnight said he was not attempting to aim his criticism at Brown.

Surely there will be more blame to come. Stay tuned.
