Andy Samberg has had a wildly successful career on SNL and apparently he is really emotional about leaving! Poor Andy  😦 In an interview yesterday, Andy Samberg admitted he cried when it was time to leave SNL.

Adam Sandler was in on the interview explained why it makes people emotional to leave the iconic show…I mean besides the obvious reasons. He said that growing up, when it’s your dream to be on SNL, and you actually do it…then it makes you wonder what’s next!?

This comes right after another huge departure in Kristin Wiig.  Wiig’s last show was the last week of May of this year when Mick Jagger hosted the show.  It seemed like SNL was turning a corner and may have been taking a turn for the better.  While Wiig was definitely the bigger star to leave the show, Samberg is yet another blow to iconic program.

“It’s an incredibly emotional and strange moment in my life,” said Samberg of his decision to leave the show.
