The Lumineers offer a new generation of “rustic, heart-on-the-sleeve music.” If you like classic soulful music like The Avett Brothers or Mumford And Sons, this is your new favorite band. The American folk rock band from Denver, Colorado released their self titled album this past April. In June, the album’s first single “Ho Hey” debuted at number 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and they’ve been climbing the charts since then!

Drummer Jeremiah Fraites emphasizes the simplicity of the group’s style saying, “We’re not reinventing the wheel or doing anything that different, the songs are super simple. The ideas themselves are very simple ideas. Anyone who can play an instrument can play a Lumineers song I think there’s a certain cinematic aspect of our music that I really like.”

Give it a listen and let us know what you think!
