Frank Ocean has written another open letter to fans. The critically-acclaimed R&B singer-songwriter, who is no stranger to penning public statements (who could ever forget his career-changing revelation that he once had a love affair with a man?) posted his latest message on his Tumblr page.

In his new note, the Channel Orange singer touched on a diverse range of subjects.

“I wanna write a novel about twins, some type of nature versus nurture tale,” Ocean wrote of one of his dreams. “I’ve said that to a neighbor before.”

But the Odd Future affiliate has more in mind than just becoming a literary giant.

“I want to start a car club,” he continued of his future pursuits. “I’m playing with two names for it. I sketched a logo for it. It’s not there yet. I was going to build an arcade, the more I lived with that idea … the less it stuck.”

Ocean also detailed his studio time with super producer Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes and hip-hop mogul Jay-Z. He marveled at their longevity and hunger after years in the game.

“I sat in the studio days ago with Jiggaman and Pharrell. Pharrell looks 19,” he recalled. “They seemed like old friends. I wonder how many trophies are logged in their mind. I wonder why they still build. I build things for the sport and the therapeutic benefits. For immortality b—-tch.”

And as he did in his previous letter to the world, Ocean approached the subject of love. “All I really have to say is that love is all there is,” he said. “Every other sentence just belabors the point. Maybe not in a boring way, I don’t know what I’m saying.”—Keith Murphy, CBS Local
