Tweet Beat: One Direction Take Over New York’s Madison Square Garden

Last night the boys of One Direction accomplished a milestone many bands only dream of: playing to a sold-out audience at Madison Square Garden. With a surprise performance by Ed Sheeran and additional celebrity spottings including Taylor Swift throughout the evening, here’s a roundup of their night in Tweets.

Though it was a huge night for the boys, the fans celebrated 1D’s milestone achievement as well.

Ed Sheeran also had reasons to party. Having opened up the show, he later surprised the Garden when he joined the boys onstage to perform “Little Things.”

That wasn’t all though. It seems Taylor Swift also had a fun evening.
