Yesterday the worst tragedy in American history happened and it left many people wondering why? The elementary school shooting in Connecticut at Sandy Hook will forever be remembered as the worst  school shooting in history. Mainly because most of the victims were young children.

Detroit native Mike Posner felt it was his duty to share his gift with the world and wrote and produced this song called ‘Heaven’. Posner left this comment on his YouTube page:

I wanted to do SOMETHING for the families and I didn’t know what else to do. Ed Sheeran’s guitar played at the exact moment I heard about the tragedy. The song came out of me faster than any before. It felt wrong not to share it. I hope this finds its way to the proper ears at the proper time. God Bless you. I’m so grateful to be alive. Maybe this terrible day will make sense in Heaven.

Thought and prayers go out to all the families and friends of the victims of this horrific tragedy. You can hear the song all weekend on 98.7 AMP Radio and if you missed it, you can listen to it below.
