Barry Sanders Wins Cover Of Madden NFL 25′

It was an “old school” versus “new school” challenge to land the cover of Madden NFL 25′. Barry Sanders defeated Adrian Peterson in the final vote to win the honor!

It just goes to show you that football fans haven’t forgot about the greatness of Barry Sanders! Detroit Lions Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders beat out Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings. Take a look at how it all went down last night!

Of course, the Madden cover has long been considered a jinx. Sanders is retired so no worries there. Players like Daunte Culpepper, Michael Vick, Ray Lewis, Donovan McNabb and Shaun Alexander all had horrible seasons after being on the cover. Thankfully last year Calvin Johnson didn’t get seriously injured. Johnson ended up setting a single-season receiving record with 1,964 yards. Go LIONS!
