The cover for the latest issue of the New Yorker features “Sesame Street” residents Bert and Ernie cuddling on the couch while watching the Supreme Court’s ruling on gay marriage.

For years, there have been rumors of Bert and Ernie being more than roommates. The magazine confirmed the drawing was first uploaded to the Web over a year ago.

The difference between the original work and the one on the New Yorker is what Bert and Ernie are watching on TV.

In the original piece, they were watching President Barack Obama.

Personally I have no issues with this. I am actually glad to hear more and more stuff like this happening. How would you react as a parent to this?
