Someone Put The City of Detroit Up For Bid On eBay

Last week was though for the city and residents of Detroit. Detroit became the largest U.S. city to file for bankruptcy, and many fear the city will completely die. The hard working people of Detroit are proud of their city and I’m sure won’t go down eay!

Of course with news like this it opens the city up to even more jokes like this one. A eBay seller from Brookfield, Wisconsin has put the city of Detroit up for auction and the starting bid is $7.50.

Part of the description says:

This is your chance to own a piece of America!

Known for producing some of America’s finest automobiles like the Chevy Vega and Ford Pinto, Detroit was once home to a bustling industrial and manufacturing economy.

All it needs now is a little TLC (and approximately 3 trillion dollars).

Keep your head up Detroit and keep moving forward. Just know it can’t get any worse!
