Usher Speak’s On Son’s Pool Accident

The good news is Usher’s 5 year old son Usher Raymond V who nearly drowned in a pool accident is going to be ok. He was rushed to an Atlanta hospital on August 5 after getting his arm stuck in the drain of the pool drain. He was trying to retrieve a toy from the bottom of the pool.

BREAKING: Ushers Ex-Wife Asks For Emergency Custody Hearing

After the news broke about Usher’s son it seemed like all we kept hearing was how his ex-wife Tameka was taking Usher to court to try and get custody of their two boys. I understand she was upset but is that where your focussed needed to be at that moment… Usher is not saying anything about those allegations, but he did thank those who saved his son’s life in this statement.

“I would like to thank my Aunt Rena as well as the doctors and nurses who are working with us around the clock. I would especially like to thank the two men who saved my son’s life, Eugene Stachurski and Ben Crews. They are true heroes and I am deeply grateful to them.”

“I am blessed and fortunate to say that my son Usher V is doing well and is recovering,” Usher continued, updating us on his son’s health. “I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers, love and support for my family’s well-being.”

Now it looks like the mother of Ben Crews is asking Usher for a little favor…. Her son is getting married and she thought it would be nice if Usher could sing at her son’s wedding! That would be kind of cool! So far no word from Usher if he will make that a wedding gift happen.
