Victoria Beckham says She Won’t Reunite with the Spice Girls Again

It looks like there won’t be anymore ‘Spice’ in our lives!

Following the Spice Girls’ performance at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, VictoriaPosh SpiceBeckham has stated that she has no plans to reunite with the girl group again.

According to the New York Daily News and the Daily Mail, Beckham explained during a recent interview with the Italian and Spanish Vanity Fair that she viewed the reunion at the Opening Ceremonies as a great way to represent their country for the event, but also, as a way to officially bid farewell.

“Doing the Olympics was an incredible honour. I was so proud to do it, proud to be British,” the pop star-turned-fashion designer explained. “That was the perfect time to say, ‘That’s great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.’ Sometimes you’ve got to know when it’s time to leave the party.”

Since the Spice Girls’ called in quits in 2001, Beckham has kept a pretty tight schedule between taking care of her four kids with husband David Beckham and running her fashion line.

However, the 39-year-old says that the message of “Girl Power” she and bandmates Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown and Emma Bunton preached in the ‘90s still rings true in her life.

“The Spice Girls were successful because we celebrated women. That’s why I do what I do today,” she notes.
