Vin Diesel Throws Solo Dance Party, Rocks Out to Katy Perry and Beyoncé

To celebrate his latest film, Riddick, scoring the highest DVD sales in the U.S. in its debut week, Vin Diesel did what everyone else would do – threw a seven-and-a-half minute solo dance party for himself in his living room!

The action star took to his official Facebook page today (January 28) to post a video of said dance party, where he starts by rocking out to Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse.”

In the middle of the song, Diesel brings the music down to explain his joy, stating, “Guys, I’m just excited and happy…Universal just called and told me that Riddick is no. 1 on the DVD charts! There’s no way in the world that Riddick would have been made without you guys.”

After thanking his fans and hinting at the promise of a Riddick sequel, dance-machine Diesel then turns his focus to the Grammys, stating that he missed the show due to preparations for the latest Fast and Furious film. However, that doesn’t stop him from doing his own performance of “Drunk in Love,” the song with which Beyoncé and Jay Z opened the show on Sunday.

Diesel even does his own (err..unique?) rendition of the “surfboard” dance move, before signing off with the message “All love…”
