The Arctic Monkeys gave fans a taste of what to expect from their latest batch of upcoming tour dates when they performed on last night’s episode of The Late Show with David Letterman, and chances are, concert goers will not be disappointed.

The indie rock foursome has tapped into a bluesier, more soulful sound with their latest album AM, and there’s no better example of that than the record’s lead-off track “Do I Wanna Know?” which the band rocked on Letterman.

Despite the fact that the Arctic Monkeys spent the better part of 2013 on the road, their performance and overall energy on the show last night indicated they are absolutely not burned out on playing live – if anything, the group sounds like they’ve really hit their stride!

The next leg of the AM Tour kicks off on January 30 in Miami, FL and will hit Detroit on February 12 when the Arctic Monkeys play The Fillmore.
