Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Brandlin has turned down a prosecutor’s motion to have Chris Brown sent to jail over a misdemeanor assault case filed against him last year, the New York Daily News reports. Brandlin ruled that Brown should stay in a rehabilitation facility, stating that Brown’s probation officials report that he is making good progress in treatment.

The officials state that Brown “appears to have a more serious and responsible demeanor” since checking into rehab last November, according to The Washington Post. Brown was sentenced to three months of in-patient rehab and is due back in court on February 28 to update the judge on his progress.

According to TMZ Ke$ha‘s music producer Dr. Luke is in BIG TROUBLE. You remember that Dr. Luke is the guy that has been blamed for her eating disorder having allegedly referred to her as a “f*****g refrigerator” in the past…Well now her fans are threatening his life on Twitter, to the point where the LAPD have had to get involved.

Some of my personal favorites include:

— “Ima gonna carve u like a pumpkin with a long sharp knife.”

— “Im gonna gut you like a fish then skin you and glue ur wrinkly raisin skin to a fridge!”

TMZ reports that police are following-up on users who have been making threats, especially after one tweet gave out very personal information about the producer and then suggested followers use it to find him and cause him harm.
