Jay Leno Says Goodbye On ‘The Tonight Show’!

I was just getting ready to go to bed when I remembered last night was Jay Leno’s last night so I stayed up to watch. I’m so glad I did! I love Jay Leno, and have been a fan of The Tonight Show for as long as I can remember. What a great show it was!

I was getting choked up in his opening monologue. He wasn’t holding anything back! I guess at this point, why bother?

Billy Crystal
, who was his first guest ever on The Tonight Show, was also his final guest. LOVED LOVED LOVED it! He led a parade of famous faces in a parody of “So Long, Farewell” from “The Sound of Music.” Jack Black, Kim Kardashian, basketball star Chris Paul, Sheryl Crow, Carol Burnett, and even the talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey all made appearances as well.

Then, towards the end of the show, Jay got really choked up. The most personal I’ve ever seen him. Very touching.

“This has been the greatest 22 years of my life,” a tearful Leno said. “I got to meet presidents, astronauts, movie stars. It’s just been incredible.”

Thanks for all the laughs Jay. You will be missed.
