What better way could we celebrate Valentine’s Day than to pay tribute to some of popular music’s greatest power couples? Check out our list and vote for your favorite pair below!

1.  Beyoncé and Jay Z

Seriously, these two are like the king and queen of the hip-hop industry! Jay and Bey (their names even rhyme!) married in 2008 after a long courtship and gave birth to their beautiful daughter Blue Ivy in 2012.

Besides having ridiculously successful solo careers, the pair have also collaborated on hits such as “Crazy in Love,” “Déjà vu,” “03 Bonnie and Clyde” and most recently, “Drunk in Love,” which they performed at the 2014 Grammy Awards…and knocked it out of the park!

2.  Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale

If Beyoncé and Jay Z head-up the hip-hop industry, Gwen and Gavin could be the rulers of rock!

This ridiculously good-looking pair both front their own bands (No Doubt and Bush) and met while on tour together 1995.

The couple married in 2002, and though they briefly went through a rocky patch (Rossdale discovered he had a 15-year-old daughter from a previous relationship in 2004) the two worked it out and are currently pregnant with their third son.

3.  Katy Perry and John Mayer

Following the end of the “Dark Horse” singer’s marriage to actor/comedian Russell Brand in 2011, Katy Perry and John Mayer began dating, though many seemed skeptical that relationship would last due to Mayer’s long history of ‘womanizing.’ After a brief breakup in 2013, the two reunited and have recently seemed stronger than ever.

Mayer and Perry recorded the duet “Who You Love” last year, which appeared on Mayer’s sixth studio album Paradise Valley. Excuse us while we imagine these two talented stars spending their Valentine’s Day serenading each other with that song…

4.  Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton

This country couple just tied the knot about three years ago, but we’re hoping they’re in it for the long haul!

As of late, Lambert and Shelton’s marriage has been plagued with divorce rumors, though the two presented a united front at this year’s Grammy Awards, which silenced gossipers…for now.

5.  Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz

Singer Alicia Keys married producer/musician Swizz Beatz after the two fell in love while doing what they both do best – making music!

While Keys and Beatz (real name: Kasseem Dean) were working on the single “Million Dollar Bill” for Whitney Houston’s 2009 album I Look To You, sparks apparently flew, though it took them nearly a year to confirm their relationship.

The couple married in May of 2010 and just a few months later, Keys gave birth to their first child, Egypt Daoud Ibarr Dean.

6.  Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo

In the short time that they’ve been together, Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo have been through more that some couples go through in a lifetime.

The adorable pair started dating in 2012, and soon after, Derulo sustained a horrible neck injury while practicing a dance routine which nearly left him paralyzed.  During his recovery, Sparks stayed by his side and the two became closer than ever.

Rumors of their engagement have been flying since then, only becoming more rabid when Sparks appeared in the music video for Derulo’s 2013 single “Marry Me.”

7.  Faith Hill and Tim McGraw

Many couples in music (and in general) aspire to be as successful as Tim and Faith.

The country superstars have been married for 17 years after meeting in 1996 while co-headlining the Spontaneous Combustion Tour.

Together they have three daughters, Gracie, Maggie and Audrey, and despite having extremely busy schedules, aspire to spend no more than three days apart at a time.

Additionally, the singers have made some seriously sweet music together, releasing duets such as “I Need You,” “It’s Your Love,” “Let’s Make Love” and “Just to Hear You Say That You Love Me,” and recently starring in a high-profile Las Vegas show.

Tim and Faith are unfortunately the target of cheating and divorce rumors all-too-often, but with nearly two-decades under their big-buckled belts, they’ll just continue to let the haters hate!

8.  Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon

Many were surprised to learn of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s relationship because of their 10-year-plus age difference, but these two actor/artists have made it work for them!

Carey, 43, and Cannon, 33, married somewhat abruptly in 2008 and gave birth to twin-daughters, Monroe and Moroccan, three years later.

These days, the couple seems happier than ever, and they celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary with a fairy tale-style vow renewal at Disneyland last year.
