Last month, Lorde teased that she’d be teaming up with Disclosure at the 2014 Brit Awards. And last night (Feb. 19), fans finally got to see the end result.

The 17-year-old Kiwi took the stage in a floorlength sparkly gown to perform her ubiquitous hit “Royals,” a song she wishes radio would stop playing. Behind her, a screen featuring a photo of her lit up like the cover of Disclosure’s 2013 debut, Settle.

Guy and Howard Lawrence of Disclosure soon pumped up “Royals” with a few dancefloor beats before launching into their own song, “White Noise” featuring Aluna Francis of AlunaGeorge, who was on hand to sing her part.

The mash-up went off without a hitch, which probably surprised everyone involved. The brothers admitted the day before their awards show performance that they hadn’t even met Lorde yet, but had talked to her over the phone and over Skype. Apparently, that was good enough.
