Minor League Philadelphia Baseball Team To Use Bacon As Logo

Apparently the internet’s love of bacon has extended into the world of baseball!

According to Yahoo! Sports, the Triple-A Philadelphia Phillies affiliate team, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, will have new uniforms this year, which will incorporate strips of bacon into their “Pigs” logo.

The team will also have matching caps that feature a piece of the salty goodness on the front, which they will wear every Saturday night during their 2014 season, Yahoo! Sports reports.

The IronPigs’ uniform switch has been branded as ‘#SmellTheChange,’ which is being used to sell the pork-themed apparel online.

So move quickly, because just like at the breakfast table, this bacon is bound to go fast!

What do you think of the IronPigs’ new bacon-ized logo? Sound off below!
