Sources Close To Gwyneth Paltrow And Chris Martin Weigh In On Their ‘Conscious Uncoupling’

Easily one of the biggest headlines of the week was Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s breakupConscious Uncoupling,” and recently, some of the pair’s closest confidants have weighed in on the topic.

While speaking with E! News on the red carpet in Las Vegas, Paltrow’s bestie Cameron Diaz said of the situation, “They’ve made a conscious effort to separate the part of their lives they don’t want to live together anymore, and maintain a really beautiful, strong bond as parents and as friends…I think people should really honor that and they should admire it and they should respect it. They’ve done something really extraordinary, and they’ve been very brave at presenting that to the public.”

Diaz then added, “She’s doing great. They’re doing great.”

Chris Martin’s dad Anthony also recently spoke with the UK publication The Mirror about his son’s split with his wife of over a decade, saying that “It is sad because there are our two grandchildren. But it’s all very amicable between them.”

Meanwhile, Paltrow, Martin and their two children Apple (9) and Moses (7) have reportedly been vacationing in the Bahamas to avoid the media storm, though the 41-year-old actress did post a brief update on her Goop blog (where the couple first announced their split on Tuesday) writing, “CM and I in deep gratitude for the support of so many. ♥”

What do you think? Are you tired of hearing the term ‘conscious uncoupling’ or are Paltrow and Martin handling their split admirably? Sound off below!
