Earlier this month, word got out that Chelsea Handler wouldn’t be renewing her contract with E!, thus ending her eight year run as host of Chelsea Lately at the end of 2014.

When David Letterman announced his retirement from The Late Show just a few weeks later, many began to wonder if Handler could be a contender for the position, but the announcement later came that Stephen Colbert would be taking over as host.

Now, it looks like Chelsea may still be in talks with CBS, but it’s not clear in what facet.

Rumors began to swirl yesterday (April 14) when the comedian/actress posted a photo on Instagram from the road of her current tour which clearly shows her holding a CBS pamphlet.

“Business meeting,” Handler wrote cryptically, also noting of her dog, “Chunk has been acting like this since I started my tour.”

Some are speculating that Chelsea could be taking over for Craig Ferguson on The Late Late Show, though a rep for CBS has since denied those claims. Others think she may be in talks for another sitcom (Handler starred in and executive produced the NBC show Are You There, Chelsea? for one season in 2012.)

Still, while speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Handler’s manager Irving Azoff stated that the funny lady has “at least seven suitors,” so she may just be weighing her options.
