Join AMP Radio For National Stand4Change Day And Help End Bullying!

Join 98.7 AMP Radio on Friday, May 2nd at Noon and make a Stand4Change in your school.  Take the pledge and help stop bullying!

Stand4Change is an international event that has been put together by the local anti-bullying organization Defeat The Label.

In the State of Michigan, the Senate passed a bill making the first Friday of May an official anti-bullying day and the National Educational Association has helped take the movement to an international level. This means that 170 countries and 30 million teachers are encouraged to participate.

Defeat The Label has already signed up more than 3 million students online to participate nationally! But most importantly, we want YOU to join us in this movement!

At noon (EST) on FridayMay 2nd students can join hundreds of thousands of people around the world by standing up in their classrooms and making the following pledge:

I will not allow social labels to define others or myself. I will take a stand against bullying in my school. Starting today, I will stand up and Defeat the Label.”

Adults are also encouraged to stand up in the workplace and take a pledge that ensures we’re giving students the proper tools they need to speak up against bullying.
