The backlash against Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling after racist comments were revealed over the weekend has been swift and decisive, with such music superstars as Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg and Meek Mill making statements denouncing the franchise boss.

Snoop Dogg (famously a fan of L.A.’s longer standing NBA team, the Lakers) took to his Instagram account to unleash a profanity-laden tirade against Sterling that bluntly explains his stance on the situation. Lil Wayne made a video (via WorldStar Hip-Hop) that expresses sentiments much like those expressed by Snoop Dogg.

“If I was a Clippers fan, I wouldn’t be one anymore. It’s that simple,” Wayne said in the video, adding that an apology or team meeting wouldn’t be enough for him to put on the team’s uniform if he was a player. “Respect isn’t a team sport,” he continued.
