Yesterday, Rihanna teased a few photos from her recent shoot with France’s Lui Magazine on Instagram.

The whole thing seemed simple enough…except for the fact that the pop star appeared topless (and bottomless) in several of the pictures, including the cover shot, and the photo sharing app doesn’t allow nudity.

It’s speculated that Instagram then warned Rihanna to take the risqué photos down or they removed the pics themselves, because just an hour after the singer posted them, they were gone.

But ‘Bad Gal RiRi’ wasn’t done yet!

In place of her deleted photos, the ever-controversial artist decided to tease Instagram about their policies by uploading a couple of memes and instructing fans to go to Twitter to see her banned pics.

Rihanna has become known for posting photos on Instagram that come very close to breaking their code of conduct, so it’s almost a wonder that this hasn’t happened to her before. Still, we doubt that the site would ban such a high-profile user, as the singer has almost 13 million followers!

What do you think? Was Instagram right to band Rihanna’s photos? Sound off below!
