With boy bands making such a huge comeback in the music industry, it looks like a couple of the artists who helped define the movement in the ‘90s are looking to get in on the action!

Jordan Knight of New Kids on the Block and Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys have formed a new act called Nick & Knight, and just revealed plans for an album and a tour!

In a recent interview with GMA, Carter and Knight discussed their forthcoming projects, and teased what fans can look forward to hearing in their music.

“We’re almost pretty much done with the album,” Carter explained (via The Hollywood Reporter). “It’s a bunch of our pop, rock, R&B and urban. It’s all mixed together to create Nick & Knight.”

Meanwhile, the duo’s album, entitled Just The Two of Us, is due out on September 2, and soon afterwards, they will embark on a 39-date tour. Nick & Knight will hit Detroit on September 28 when they play the Royal Oak Music Theatre.

The news comes on the heels of NKOTB’s recently announced reality show on TV Guide, which will run for eight episodes and feature the guys on a cruise ship filled with their biggest fans.

Additionally, BSB is set to hit the road this summer for a North American concert run with Avril Lavigne.
