Movement Special Feature – Hear Guest DJ Sets By Justin Martin & Terrence Parker TONIGHT On 98-7 AMP Radio!

To make sure you’re excited for this year’s Movement Electronic Music Festival in Detroit, our very own DJ Ryan Richards has been hosting a series of special guest DJ sets on each Friday night leading up to the big weekend!

For this weekend’s installment, you can hear an hour-long set from Justin Martin tonight at 2am, followed by a set from Terrence Parker at 3am.

Justin Martin has spent over ten years making a name for himself as a DJ and producer in the San Francisco music scene. Since releasing his first record The Sad Piano in 2003, Martin has worked with some of EDM’s biggest names, having been mentored by the iconic Claude VonStroke.

Martin was essential in the launching of Dirtybird Records, appearing on the label’s first four releases and later dropping a series of solo EPs which garnered respect among his peers and fans alike. He has also become known for his work with his brother Christian, and the two collaborate on hip-hop influenced projects under the name The Martin Brothers.

Martin’s most recent album, 2012’s Ghettos & Gardens, has brought his fame to a whole new level, allowing him to perform at events across the world, including this year’s Movement Festival!

Terrence Parker, a local house music legend, has been working as a DJ, producer and remixer for over three decades both in his hometown of Detroit and around the globe.

Breaking into the music industry in 1988, Parker has had more than 100 releases on several different labels, some of which have spawned top 20 hits such as “Love’s Got Me High” and “The Question.”

Also known as “The Telephone Man,” Parker famously uses a telephone handset in place of traditional headphones; one of many things that makes him a unique talent.

Parker’s album Detroit After Dark is internationally known, finding success in U.K., The Netherlands, Germany, and France.

So listen tonight to hear DJ Ryan Richards spin special DJ guest sets from Justin Martin (2am-3am) and Terrence Parker (3am-4am) only on 98-7 AMP Radio.

The Movement Electronic Music Festival is set for Memorial Day Weekend (May 24 – 26) at Hart Plaza in Detroit!
