Last night, the winners were revealed on two of televisions’ most popular talent competition shows!

So let’s start in alphabetical order…

On Dancing With The Stars, it was Olympic gold medal-winning figure skater Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy who took home the Mirror Ball trophy, while Amy Purdy and Derek Hough came in second and Candace Cameron Bure and Mark Ballas placed third.

Following her win, Meryl Davis took to Twitter to thank fans and her partner Maks for what was surely an amazing ride:

Meanwhile, on The Voice, it was Josh Kaufman who was crowned the winner next to fellow contestants Jake Worthington and Christina Grimmie who came in second and third, respectively.

The soulful singer’s triumph marks a victory for first-time coach Usher, and also breaks the winning streaks of Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, who have taken every other season of The Voice.

“I can’t even talk,” Kaufman said after his name was announced. “I’m overwhelmed. I’m surprised. I’m happy. I’m relieved. This has been so much more of an experience than I ever could have imagined.”

Afterwards, Levine, who clearly became quite close with Christina Grimmie over the course of the season, offered his mentee a spot on his label.

All three finalists, along with fellow season six contestant Kristen Merlin, season five finalists Tessanne Chin, Jacquie Lee and Will Champlin and season one’s Dia Frampton will head out on the road for a 31-date tour this summer.

So – what did you think of the final standings? Were you happy to see Meryl and Maks win DWTS? Did you think Josh Kaufman deserved to win The Voice? Sound off below!
