When I saw that iTunes Radio had a First Play of Mariah Carey’s new album Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse I got goose bumps!!  I’m a die hard Mariah Carey fan and I’ve been waiting for this album for waaaaaaay too long!  I’m obsessed with it! After the first couple of songs it had that Butterfly feel to it for me with songs like Cry and You’re Mine.

Mariah Carey was truly the first singer to infuse R&B with hip-hop which she continues to do on Me. I Am Mariah, working with Nas on the song Dedicated and with Fabulous on Money.

You Don’t Know What To Do with Wale is a jam!! Thirsty gets a little gritty for Mariah which I like… we’re all thirsty!!

Meteorite is a fun dance song that I can totally hear a remix to it for the clubs. Mariah and Nick Cannon‘s 3-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan appear on the song Supernatural another stand out song off the new album which is a Featured Station this week on iTunes Radio so check it out!!

Mariah kills it on every song, it’s an incredible body of work!   Give it a listen and I think you will agree!! Her voice has never sounded better! I could go on and on just give it a First Play right now on iTunes Radio and preorder it today!

Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse will be available May 27 and be sure to watch “Me. I Am Mariah” on NBC  on May 31 at 8 p.m.

Check out this live performance of Mariah from the Today Show!
