In a world full of caddy girls, it’s so refreshing to see this story!  I have to admit I was bit worried with how Nicki Minaj was going to feel about the new female rapper on the scene, Iggy Azalea, who is really HOT right now! But when you’re confident in your own skin you can openly support other girls and that’s exactly what Minaj is doing!

Iggy’s album, The New Classic is the No. 1 rap album right now and her song “Fancy is sitting at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100! Nicki Minaj in a recent interview took the time to congratulate Iggy on her success.

“I think that congratulations is in order,” Minaj told “Her single is doing really, really well and I think that’s a good thing. One thing I’m not is a hater. If somebody is doing something and they did it well, and their song is charting well, then congratulations. I just want female rappers to understand that I’ve kicked in a lot of doors for them and I just would appreciate if they would acknowledge that… If somebody has a song that’s doing well, then I think that’s a great thing. I think that’s a great thing for women and we’re gonna keep it moving.”

Isn’t that great?! Love the support. Nicki’s new song ‘Pills n Potion‘ is amazing don’t you think?! We are patiently awaiting for more details about her new album The Pink Print dropping soon.
