The Royal Oak Farmers Market is located in the Civic Center at the corner of 11 Mile Road and Troy Street, across from the Library and adjacent to the 44th District Court.

I love it because it’s all local farmers and everything they are selling is fresh and in season. And they literally have everything. This past weekend I picked up some portobello mushrooms, asparagus and redskin potatoes. They also have vendors selling their homemade stuff like pastries, pesto….different sauces. Or you can pick up fresh flowers or different potted plants.

And  every Sunday it’s a flea market. There’s 100+ vendors sell on a rotating basis, attracting repeat visits from antiques and collectibles-seekers from all over the state.

It’s honestly just a really nice place to even just walk around. Bring the fam. Sometimes they even have live performers. Check it out!
