Demi Lovato Allegedly Unfollows Selena Gomez On Twitter: Is Their Friendship Over?

Is it the end of an era for former Disney starlets/BFFs Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato?

According to reports from Hollywood Life and the blog Oh No They Didn’t, Demi unfollowed Selena on Twitter yesterday (July 2) and also allegedly posted (and then removed) a very tell-tale meme.

In the photo, which can be seen HERE, the “Really Don’t Care” singer can be seen swimming further and further from the camera in a series of photos, with each reading, “Swimming away…from your bullsh**….Bye b****.” Lovato reportedly tweeted the pic with the caption “BYE” and a peace sign emoji.

Gomez and Lovato (both 21) have been close since childhood, first meeting during their auditions for Barney and Friends in the ‘90s.

The two singer/actresses have been through a lot together, and Gomez even recently credited Lovato with helping her through her stay in rehab earlier this year.

There’s really no telling if something has sparked a feud between the two, or if they have simply grown apart, but many are speculating that Gomez’s on-again/off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber is part of the issue.

The true test will likely come if Demi Lovato is in attendance at Selena Gomez’s upcoming birthday party, which E! News reports is set for later this month at a private estate in California.
