See Anne Hathaway, Kristen Stewart & Brie Larson Dress In Drag In Jenny Lewis’s ‘Just One Of The Guys’ Video

The undertones of Jenny Lewis’s latest song “Just One of the Guys” are not meant to be funny, but she and a group of Hollywood’s leading ladies decided to take on a lighter tone when addressing them.

In the music video, Lewis and actresses Anne Hathaway, Kristen Stewart and Brie Larson can be seen dressed in drag – specifically, in Adidas tracksuits, hats and fake mustaches.

As the ladies poke fun at a few gender stereotypes, they also show off some wonderfully terrible dance moves and clearly have a lot of fun in the process.

“We screamed with laughter all day, huddled behind the monitor,” Lewis told GQ of the video shoot. “I haven’t laughed that hard since What About Bob? came out on laser disk.”

Meanwhile, each of the ladies was active in creating their own male persona, especially Anne Hathaway, who can be seen rocking a rat tail!

“The rat-tail was all Annie,” Lewis said. “Deep character exploration. Her dude is a bit more Backstreet Boy than the rest. Melancholy Backstreet Boy is what I think she was going for—he really feels things deeply and break dances like a mother–ker.”

“Just One of the Guys” is the first single off of Jenny Lewis’s latest album Voyager, which is due out on July 29.
