Selena Gomez is making a few changes in her life, and she is giving herself a permanent reminder of those changes with some new ink!

Tattoo artist to the stars Bang Bang recently revealed during an interview with E! News that the 21-year-old pop singer came to him “about a month ago” for her latest body art.

The tattoo runs along Selena’s ribcage and features Arabic script which Bang Bang says translates to “Love Yourself” or a version of “Love Yourself First.”

“Selena already had it written out how she wanted,” Bang Bang tells E! News. “The tattoo is about 4 inches, and didn’t take too long, probably about 30-45 minutes. The longest part is laying it out. We played with it a bit laying it out, until we found the perfect spot.”

The celebrity tattoo artist also revealed that Gomez “has about 5-6 tattoos now,” but she’s apparently not done yet!

“When we did that one, she was talking about another one,” Bang Bang reveals. “But we haven’t talked plans just yet. There are always plans to do another one.”

Bang Bang says he has done about three of Gomez’s tattoos so far, and has also worked on body ink for Rita Ora, Rihanna and even the starlet’s on-again/off-again boyfriend, Justin Bieber!

Selena shared a photo of the tat on her Instagram yesterday, writing, “Art by @bangbangnyc –from my first to my last. It’s always this fool.”
