Jason Biggs Apologizes For Inappropriate Jokes About Malaysia Airlines Plane Crash

Jason Biggs isn’t exactly the pinnacle of sensitivity.

It’s not uncommon for the 36-year-old actor to post inappropriate jokes about current events on his Twitter, and then proceed to stand by his remarks when people are offended.

However, it seems as though even he thought he took things too far with his recent tweets about the Malaysia Airlines crash that occurred on Thursday.

According to E! News, Biggs took to the social media site yesterday following the tragic news to write, “Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?” He then followed up that tweet with, “In all seriousness, tho- HOW DO YOU MISTAKENLY SHOOT DOWN A COMMERCIAL PLANE?! Ugh.”

Unsurprisingly, the backlash was huge, and while the Orange is the New Black star’s first move was to defend himself, he eventually deleted the posts and replaced them with a four-part explanation/apology on Twitter:

What do you think about Jason Biggs’ remarks? What about his apology? Sound off below!
