Does Hollywood’s sweetheart have an ego?

Jennifer Lawrence, 23, and her X-Men: First Class co-star, Nicholas Hoult, 24, have reportedly ended their three-year relationship.

According to the gossip site TheFix, Hoult dumped Lawrence over her “exploded ego” and “obsession” with Hollywood, and he’s already moving on!

An article from Page Six last week stated that the young actor was reportedly spotted getting very flirty with actress Riley Keough at No.8’s Philo Prom party in New York City.

A source has this to say to TheFix:

“Jen is still desperately trying to get back with Nicholas after he broke up with her.  They’re still talking but Nicholas is moving on. He hates how in love with fame Jen is, and he told her he hates dating an A-list actress.”

“That was the most hurtful to Jen because she’s worked so hard for her achievements and she’s so proud of her career. But Nic wants a more low-key girlfriend and Riley fits the bill.”

Wow – if that’s true it looks like HIS ego got in the way!

It’s been known that Hoult likes a more low-key limelight and that has reportedly caused the two to break-up in the past. Any strong, secure guy would embrace their girlfriend’s success!

TheFix’s source also adds: “Riley is into acting in indies and not playing the fame game. She also spends a huge amount of time in the UK because her mom Lisa Marie Presley lives there.”

Meanwhile, Hoult is said to have first had romantic ties with Kenough last year when he and Lawrence took a break.

What do you guys think?  Are Jennifer and Nicholas really done or is it just plain gossip? Sound off below!
